This is my off-the-top-of-my-head short list of people who’s music inspires me. I forgot so many, missed many times more, and have yet to hear many times that. And, there’s a lotta lesser known old-timey backwoods folks too, not to mention my peculiar fascinations in some of the more unique “folk” worlds of jazz, rock, soul, hip-hop, various fusions, and, of course, good ol’ “country” music.....but not too much in recent decades for sure, at least not on the radio....I always do my best to change that. -RT
